Accommodation

Florence

Florence offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit your personal preferences. If you would prefer a homestay, single room, hotel or entire apartment, we can offer advice on location and popular sites.

Shared Accommodation

All our Florentine apartments* are based in Oltrarno, within walking distance of the classroom in Piazza Santo Spirito. Far from the maddening crowd yet only five minutes from the Ponte Vecchio, the Oltrarno quarter displays the true character of Florence and in general is slightly quieter, greener and more relaxed than other districts. It contains sites of cultural significance such as Palazzo Pitti, Cappella Brancacci and Piazzale Michelangelo and it is famous for its wine bars and traditional trattorias. Piazza Santo Spirito itself regularly holds a wonderful fresh produce market and monthly antiques market.

Santo Spirito 1

This apartment in Florence holds an unrivalled position overlooking Piazza Santo Spirito. There are four bedrooms in the apartment. Students will share twin or triple rooms, with en-suite bathrooms.  There is also a dining room, kitchen and living room.  Air Conditioning and Wi-Fi included.

Santo Spirito 2

Unique historic apartment overlooking Piazza Santo Spirito, it is an ideal place if you want to get a taste of the real, traditional, Florentine living. Located in a historic building on the third floor without elevator, it is a great starting point to explore the city. The house is composed of 2 twin rooms, 1 bathroom with shower, and a kitchen. Air Conditioning and Wi-Fi included.

*Please note that the accommodation might change depending on availability and numbers, see Section 6. Any alternative accommodation offered will always be in the historic centre and within walking distance of our classroom.

Salerno (Amalfi Coast)

Salerno enjoys a strategic position to visit the main attractions of Campania, especially the Amalfi Coast and Cilento. An ancient land, with a history mapped out in its monuments and architecture, it has attracted tourists who love art and gastronomy and the vibrant cultural events on offer. Salerno provides a taste of the 'authentic' coastal life that remains: away from the crowds that gather in towns such as Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano and yet well-connected by hourly buses, boats and trains.

Via Roma 1

This residence* is situated in an elegant palazzo with a view of the sea, in the heart of Salerno. It has the atmosphere of a private home, complete with comfortable living area and central study table. The common areas boast soaring archways and 12-foot ceilings. Every bedroom has a bathroom, hairdryer, towel heater, minibar, safe deposit box, satellite T.V., internet and air conditioning.
